Steve's Story
I was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, and moved to Calgary in 1968. I am widowed; my wife of 33 years, M. Alexis "Lexie" Pakulak, passed away in 2016 from complications of kidney failure. After graduating from Lord Beaverbrook in 1974, I attended University of Calgary (BComm Accounting). I worked at Gulf Canada (now ConocoPhillips), primarily in Land Administration for 23 years, and joined Apache Corporation in a similar role in 2002.

following the death of my wife, I am transitioning into retirement by downsizing Lexie's and my late mother-in-law's extensive collections, I moved into an apartment condo in Cochrane in October 2018 and am dealing with the last of the downsizing and completing Lexie's unfinished science fiction novel..
