as toured the world extensively as a member of Supertramp and as a founding member of the Rippingtons, one of the most successful pop-jazz groups of the last two decades. The Rippingtons were awarded five #1 billboard sales awards). Steve’s work with the legendary Miles Davis whom quoted Steve as "One of the most imaginative percussionists of the decade." was a pinnacle in the young percussionists career. Steve Jumped into the multi-media and gaming arena early as head sound designer for the Virgin records CD Rom Of the Year! “The Rolling Stones, Welcome To The Voodoo Lounge.” Still with a hunger to perform live Steve’s recent touring and recording credits include "Hydra," Featuring Mickey Hart & Bill Kreutzman,of The Greatful Dead. The Rippington's 20th anniversary CD and DVD set., and the stunning performing arts group The Mutaytor, Recent TV credits include the new hit show “The Secret Live Of The American Teenager on ABC Family. Currently Steve has been busy designing and building several recording studios for his new company Art 2 Ear Acoustical Design. “We Just finished a large recording complex in Malibu for “Rudawg Records” It was a remarkable project with cutting edge acoustical treatment. Were very happy in the way it sounds. a complimentary fusion of art and acoustics.” Steve currently tours internationally with with Keiko Matsui and is leaving for a two month East Europian tour and Japan in September 2011.
