Steve's Story
Hey there old friends,
Its been a long while since I was at La Puente High. After going to the Graduation Party at Disneyland I moved the next day to San Francisco, where I attended San Francisco State University.
After graduating from the University, I started working for the Postal Service with the intent of it being a temporary job. In 1983 I transferred to Redding Calif. which is 90 miles from the Oregon border. 3 years ago I retired and I have been enjoying life immensely.
My passion of life includes traveling. I have been to New Zealand, Mexico, Canada, Hawaii, Alaska, and Ireland. I also love photography and I take a lot of phot...Expand for more
os while on trips. I also developed a love for the outdoors, including camping, fishing, and hiking. Being close to awesome fishing has always been a priority to me. I live very close to the Sacramento River, the largest in the state. I am also close to Lake Shasta, Whiskeytown NRA, Trinity Lake, and other great fishing/boating venues. At one time, in my younger years, I used to back pack in the Sierras.
I have been blessed with one daughter but no grand kids yet.
I was a pretty shy, skinny kid when I went to LPHS. I didn't have a lot of friends but I was friendly. I loved my Electronics classes and I was generally a good student.
