Steve's Story
Steve is from Vancouver, Washington. He is married. His schools include University of San Diego High School. He later attended Chapman University. He worked at Sharp Laboratories of America.
After high school, I joined the navy. Twenty-one years later I retired and moved to Vancouver, Washington. While in the navy i was an aviation electronics technician and worked on P-3 and S-3 aircraft. I made two deployments on USS Kitty Hawk(CV-63). I was stationed in Japan,...Expand for more
Tennessee, Guam and California. I visited Taiwan, Hong Kong, Philippines, Pakistan, Kenya, Ponape Island, Spain and France. I enjoyed two overseas tours in Japan and Guam.
After the navy, I worked for Emerald Computers, Sharp Microelectronics Technology and Sharp Laboratories of America. After working for Sharp for 21 years, I was laid off when Sharp exited the north American cell phone business. I am now retired and taking care of my grandson after school.
