Steve's Story
After Evander I attended the University of Michigan earning a degree in Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture. Married in 1971 to a gal from Oklahoma raising two wonderful sons. Proud to say we are still together with our 40th Anniversary just around the corner . Attended 40 year Evander reunion in 2003. be the direction I had to go. Changed my eating habits and started running. At age 60 I was down to 175 lbs preparing to run my first Marine Corps Marathon. I'm still running and coaching a First Time Marathon group in Montgomery County Maryland, completing my 2nd Marine Corps Marathon with my son in October 2009 ( #5 overall). Both of us will be running the NYC Marathon in November 2010 - If you can maintain the moving parts its a great way to stay young.
