Life
Wow, this is cool.
Since we graduated, I have grown an extra chin, and I now have more on my face than I do on my head. That's OK though. My wife tells me that as the hair line receeds, the testosterone level increases.
I moved to Orange County in September after graduation, and have only visited the Southbay since then.
I married in 1966, and the best part of that marriage was the 2 yeard I spent in Vietnam. I did get 2 great kids though who have given me 4 grandchildren. One of my sons lives close by, and the other one lives in Corona.
I married again on Christmas Eve 1986, and I think I have finally found a keeper.
I have been in to long distance cycling ( bicycles ) since 1985, and so far the longest ride I have done was from Port Angeles, Washington to my home in Laguna Niguel. It took 20 days, and let me tell you, if you really want to see the country, do it on a bicycle.
I had heart surgery in October 2007 (5 bypasses and a new aortic valve). After that, I decided I no longer needed or wanted the stress of ownership so I sold my shop and made an at...Expand for more
tempt at retirement. I soon learned that retirement ain't for me. You just don't go from working 14 hours a day yo nothing. I made it about 3 months before my wife told me to get out of the house.
I had a couple of part time jobs, but when the workload died, the part time guy got laid off.
In April of this year, we moved from Laguna Niguel to San Clemente. My wife was a devoted ZILLOW watcher, and she found a house that was actually a deal "too good to walk away from". We listed our house in Laguna Niguel on a Thursday afternoon and sold it Saturday afternoon (two days later).
About 4 months ago, I went back in to business. The first 2 months I thought, what did I get myself in to now. I had a new piece of equipment to learn and no work. That has changed now. I'm working from home and loving it. The commute is great.
Now when someone asks me how I am, I tell them "IF I WAS ANY BETTER THERE'D HAVE TO BE TWO OF ME".
My hobbies are racing remote controlled model boats, riding my bicycle, and harassing my wife.
