Steve's Story
I went to college. I got a degree in History. Oh, and Speech. I went to grad school. In History. It was alright.
The real turning point for me was getting a job in a record store in 1973. What else would I want to do after that?
Then, I started a rock and roll band. We had fun. We made records. Some people dug us. What else would I want to do after that?

Had a couple of kids. Swell. It's been great. Love them to death. Meanwhile, I work in a record store. And play in a rock and roll band. And write about rock and roll for the Kansas City Star. And talk about it on radio. And so on.
What else would I want to do?
I love my family. I love my friends. I love travel, literature, film, visual arts, food and wine. Oh, and rock and roll.
