Steve's Story
Workplace
Since working for the Sheriff's Department from 1991-present I have attained several positions. I started in the jail as a detentions officer and in 1999 went through the basic academy and soon thereafter promoted to Deputy Sheriff. I was immediately transferred to the beautiful, sandy, windy and HOT town of Ridgecrest.
I soon bacame trained and was transferred into the D.A.R.E unit where I was able to tea...Expand for more
ch a few hundred kids before the program was shut down due to budget constraints. I am now recovered from a work related shoulder injury and am currently working in the wonderful suburbs of oildae commonly reffered to as (Taft).
I have now transferred to the Metropolitan Patrol division where I have been working since September 2007. I am having a wonderful time while working with a really great group of co-workers.
