steve's Story
Life
I still live in Wallingford. I married at 18 and bought the house I still live in when I was 19. My wife Beverly and I were married for 34 years as of July 21, 2007. She died of lung cancer on Thanksgiving day.
We have three daughters ages 30, 23, and 22, and three grandsons, ages 6, 2, and 1. My youngest daughter lives with me while she continues her college education. My middle daughter and her son live in Meriden. Her husband serves in the Air Force and is scheduled to be deployed for the third time in Iraq. My oldest daughter, her husband, and two sons live in Higginum. She is expecting another child in October.

ing to move there on 08/08/2008 which was to be my retirement date from the Wallingford Police Department after 32 years. We owned a small video company and a small contracting company as well over the years. The only thing left to be done on the new house was to build her horse barn and some finish work in the house. Funny how things change after working our backsides off our whole lives. I hope to keep the house in SC and look forward to retiring soon.
Both of my Wife's parents died of cancer. Her father died two months before her this year. My father died of cancer three years ago. This horrible disease has touched everyone's life in one way or another. Please join me in praying for a cure soon.
