Steve Gossett:  

After graduating from SW, I started my career as an architect at Washingon University. However, after two years it was obvious that I was not destined to be the next Frank Loyd Wright so I changed my course of studies and school. In 1964 I graduated from the University of Missouri- Columbia, with a BS in Bus Admin with a major in accounting. In 1967 i was drafted into the Army and served in Korea in the Infantry/Finsnce. After two interesting years, I returned to St. Louis and resumed my accounting career. I retired in 2001 as VP of Finance and Administration at KBA, Inc., a national engineering/architectural firm headquartered in St. Louis. I still do a little accounting part time for a few clients but my main job is now part time driving a school bus for the Ft. Zumwalt School District in O'Fallon, MO. Liking kids, I really enjoy - - most of the time - - the interaction with 100 or so kindergarten through 8th grade students. I've been married twice but, unfortunately, divorced twice.
