Steve's Story
During high school I worked for Fort Clatsop National Memorial, Astoria. This turned into a career for me in government service. I served as a Park Ranger, then special agent for the National Park Service. In 1979, I became sheriff of Clallam, County, WA. In 1990, I moved to Georgia and served on the staff at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC), US Treasury, and retired in 2001. I moved back to Port Angeles, WA (Clallam County) in 2001 and currently serve as the Chair, Clallam County Sheriff Department Civil Service Commission.

Some of the books are Park Ranger's Guide to the Federal Criminal Code, Military Police Code to the Federal Criminal Code, and similar versions for the States of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Georgia, and Hawaii.
I recently retired from the US Army Reserve after serving 29 years. I go to Yuma, AZ, for the Winter and enjoy relaxing in the sun.
I am married to Barbara and have three grown children - 2 sons and a daughter - and Barbara has two grown daughters.
