Steve's Story
Good grief 50 years!!! Well here is what I have been up to. Got our of wshs full of it, and went to SDSU and in a few years they asked me to leave and come back when I grew up. So I had a series of jobs,Eggers Steel (painted steel, picked up steel, worked getting rebar cutting it etc. though I had the world by %#$#$#$) Then I drove a delivery truck for Brown drug (about 250 miles a day) saw a lot of small town pharmacies. Well I got married and had a son (Jeff) but things weren't working out too wellso got divorced. I ran across a class mate (Bob Frick deceased) while working for AO making glasses and he was of all things a pharmacist. He drove a NEW car. Couldn't for the life of me figure out how a guy this young could drive a new car! My dad was a drug detail man and kept saying I should be in medical field. dn't get in. Somehow I did and got thru Pharmacy. Married a fellow pharmacist who showed me girls can be smart, ambitous, fun and adventerous. We moved to Chicago and worked in the City and outskirts. Great town lot of fun. We were making $7.50 an hour each. WOW $15 an hour we couldn't figure out how to spend that much money. We had 2 boys there and after 13 years we moved to Arvada Co. in 1985 and been here ever since. Oldest son passed away from alcohol/drugs 3 years ago and was quite a tragedy. Wifes name is Rexene (try and figure out how she got that name).. We have been to Norway, Sweden, looking for our roots. A 2 month trip to Alaska where I am also licensed was a ball. I am a certified diver and have had a great time in Key Wests reefs, Minn. Wis lakes. We enjoy hiking, camping, skiing, traveling, cooking, Retired and spend a lot of time chasing around the mountains, hunting, fishing, hiking, etc. Wow did the time go fast. Steve
