Steve's Story

Steve is from Lakewood, California. He is married to Sonya Sabo. His schools include Lakewood High School, Saint Maria Goretti School. ed) He retired from Lucky/Albertson 12 years ago in 2012. My wife and I built our retirement home in Utah and moved there in 2022. I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, and now I am in a wheelchair. Life goes on my wife and I are taking this journey together, which is a monster to deal with. I bought a Dodge charger hellcat which my wife drives me around in, no more hot rods I cannot work on them anymore. We have two boys, Robert and Kevin. Steve's interests incl...Expand for more

One of Steve's favorite quotes is:"Happiness isn"t something you remember, it"s something you experience". More about Steve:"just enjoying my life with family and friends, good food and good wine". I retired Feb 2012 and just enjoying my family and friends and experiencing my sons journey at MIT. I also am fighting multiple sclerosis which is a monster and physically challenging. Just trying to stay busy and enjoy retirement just not use to having so much free time.

Happy anniversary 34 years Married today and over 40 years since our first date
Having dinner with my wife, still working today on standing going to take some time for me to stand the spine is very slow in healing.  I have to get more serious and do my therapy so I can walk again, just so hard to block
