Steve's Story

My Personal Factoids, or What I Did from Then to Now by Steve Valdez, DMA Well, here I am in Athens, Georgia. I teach music history at the University of Georgia. My areas of expertise are rock music, jazz, and the music of the late Renaissance through the Baroque period; I also dabble in Medieval music. For this one last semester of Spring 2009, I am, for better or worse, the Chair of the musicology/ ethnomusicology area at UGA. It is driving me insane.
