Steven's Story
Attended Willmar schools 1960 - 1964, (Robbinsdale Noble School for several years grade school), participant in initial Willmar German Class trip in 1964, father transferred to Minneapolis shortly after return from that trip, actually graduated from Robbinsdale HS; 1970 UMn BSME mechanical engineering, drafted Aug 1970 - 72, lucky - stationed in Germany, cold war but no combat, transferred to Chicago area 1980, married Susan in 1985, 2 children - Seth U Wisc, Norwich Univ - History, Courtney U of Ariz, Northern Il Univ - Nutrition, both living in Chicago, Steve MBA Lake Forest Grad School of Mgmt 1990, self employed as consulting engineer since 1995. Still enjoy clients and work but considering retirement - or at least more flexibility in personal time.

nseen since 1964. Due to family move, I did not go thru graduation with this group but did have some formative history; I had fun, there were a couple of conversations of "who are you?" which made for opportunity of new acquaintances. Reunion committee succeeded in a great weather weekend, golf or Green Lake boat ride, and Friday and Saturday evening events and also a Friday evening remembrance of classmates lost to us too early.
Visited Charlie Ballentine and others during trip back to Minneapolis. One of these has been working with Kathy Harberts Zenk of Willmar - small world
Will miss the Robbinsdale 50th the following week. Best to that class and hoping the events find all well and healthy.

Returned on Aug 7 from 2 week vacation trip to Ireland and Scotland - damp, cool, very green, much history, narrow roads, good drinks! Much yet to see.
