Steven's Story
I moved around a lot my senior year and ended up getting my diploma at North Education Center in 1987. After school I became an electrician for a couple local electrical contracting companies in Columbus. I worked for them for 11 years till July of 1998 when I decided to pack up and moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico. That is where I met my wife of almost 17 years. I have 2 wonderful step-children, a son 26 and a daughter 30. Their mother and them are my entire life. to lay me off, I must say I never planned on opening and operating a electrical contracting company myself here in Albuquerque but I must also say it's been great working for myself so far and I'm excited to see what the future has in store for the company and myself. I've also been a Licensed Electrical Journeyman for the State of New Mexico since 2000, which allows me to bid on a project with my contractors license and I can actually perform the work with my journeyman license. I also must say that don't miss working in those cold winter's back east...I've seen the sun almost everyday here since 1998 which makes it a whole lot easier to keep a smile on my face all the time...
