Steven's Story
Ever since junior high in Ferndale I knew I wanted to teach instrumental music. Just retired last year after 34 years of teaching in Southern Illinois. I perform on trumpet throughout the area.
I have four grandchildren with ages from 2 through 11. I'm divorced and spend a great deal of time away from home performing.
My outside passion for computer electronics has turned into a post retirement business as I am tech support for several business as well as support for individuals in the community where I live.

in contact with a lifelong friend from Ferndale that I graduated with whose name is Rick Moffatt.
My mother lives in Alpena, Michigan where I spend much of my summer.
I'm active in my church and do web page design. I maintain web sites both for the church and a business I run online.
I have always enjoyed performing on trumpet and belong to a brass quintet that has performed throughout the Tri-State.
I would love to hear from other musicians from the time period I was in school (both high school, college, and graduate school.)
