Steven's Story
Life
Dear Class of 69, I would love to learn what has happened in your lives over these many years?! It will come as a shock to many that I repented of my wild and crazy youth and became a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon). I served a two year mission in Singapore, went to BYU, met and married my wife (our 27th anniverary is this Oct. 17th) and we have one daughter, 2 grandchildren, four sons (2 in college & 2 in high school). f the best trout fishing in the country! My boys and I love martial arts. Two of my sons are preparing for the Nationals full contact Tae Kwon Do competitions. I have had both of my hips replaced in the last three years. Now I'm able to mountain bike, lift weights and fish a mountain stream. I feel very fortunate to have had such successful surgeries. My basketball activities are limited but I love photography and now I can hike around with my camera. Since the Sept. 11 attack, I'm impressed how many people have recommitted themselves to God and this great country! I once heard, "there are no atheist in fox holes!" I'm impressed by the efforts to continue financial aid to the Afgans and President Bush's urging for each American child to send one dollar for the aid to the starving and suffering children in Afganistan. I hope all is well with each of you and I'd appreciate hearing from you. If anyone has an address of Coach Gordon Micky please send it.
