Steven's Story
Life
Well, lets see..... After graduation I hung out for a couple of years not doing too much with my life. I then joined the AF Reserves where I was placed in I the medical field. I went active duty and was stationed at Kessler AFB MS. I was married and had two children (SONS). They are great kids and couldn't imagine life without them. I was married for 5 years the wicked witch of the west and that came to an abrupt halt. My son's and I moved to Tampa Florida, what a great move this was on our part. All my family migrated down here over the years, so we are all together in this area. I still thank God for my boys. I was at that point a single parent. That was a hard road but one I wouldn't trade for the world. I'm soon to be a grandpa (lil girl). I am so excited and can't wait for the birth of my granddaughter. While I was up north (MD) I met someone and as the old story goes fell in love and were living together for 10 years this fell apart because he couldn't stand my kids (don't tell anyone but I am GAY). As we all know our children must come first so the only logical thing for me to at this point was to take my children and move to Florida to be near my family. I have been in Tampa for 10 years and am involved with a wonderful individual. We have a great life together. We own our own home and the cars and all the lil extras that make life worth living. As far as a career I am a Surgical Assista...Expand for more
nt, I help the Docs perform surgery. What a rewarding job to know you can save a life or make life better for someone. As far as my kids are involved they are 21 and 24 years old. Now if that doesn't make you feel old I don't know what does. My youngest is the one that is going to have the baby. I know, I know, we talked at length about precautions but I guess my speech wasn't good enough. Anyhow I'm still excited for this blessed event. Enough about me lets see some other interesting bios out there. I would love to hear from Nannette Livingston, Becky Burd, Beth Burd, Betty Lyle and the gang from Country Lakes and the Sepulga Dr area. I do miss the good old days and all the bon fires on the islands in the winter, ice skating on the lakes and lets not forget the keg parties with a little extra besides the kegs if you get my drift. What a fun time that was. Things were so simple back then!!!! What happened??? If I partied like that now I would probably keel over from a heart attach. What fun memories, wouldn't trade them for the world. Thanks for your time..... Oh, I do have a e-mail address if anyone is interested in writing me. It my first initial "s" followed by my last name "claflin" spelled out in full and this would be a that earth something link dot network. see if you can put that together. I hope your good a deciphering things. Thanks again for reading about my not so exciting life. Steve
