So many years ago high school came to a close and life really changed rapidly. I started college at Cal Poly and when I was 19 I headed off to france and switzerland to serve a mission for the LDS church. 2 1/2 years. I became a maritime captain/ contractor and live on Kauai, have 4 children and 7 grand children and remarried 5 years ago to Patty Swenson from Sausalito. We have been sailing on our catamaran "Hanaleimoon". down the east coast of lately and are headed back to the pacific this falll. It is now 2015 and I am back on Kauai, working with DR Horton building again, well managing is more like it. I spent last summer in Yellow Stone National Park managing the marina, what a special place that is and wow was the hiking and fishing unparalleled. Montana is one very beautiful place and the people so friendly.
Of lately I have been recovering from a nasty fall off my boat while in dry dock. Crushed my right side ribs and sternum, nearly bleed to death internally and was put into an induced comma. Talk about pain, it's going to be along time mending but so glad to be among the living.
