Steven is living in Seattle, Washington, since 1975. Steven's schools include Pacifica High School. Steven later attended Cypress. Steven works(ed) at Esterline Technologies, Korry Electronics. Currently coaching track and field, emphasis on Racewalking. Athlete, still competes for Club Northwest in National and International events. Ranked 2nd in the world at 3km and 5th at 5km in 2015. Best masters times as of July 15, 2015 are 7:59.2, Mile Walk, 15:51.00, 3km Walk, 26:25.4, 5km Walk, 1:57:58.3 Half Marathon Walk. National Champion in the Open Division, USATF 2014 National Club Championship 5km Walk. Certified Association USATF Racewalking Judge through 2016. Training for the World Masters 20KM Walk Championship GAmes in 2017, Auckland New Zealand. 2015 Hayward Track Classic Champion and new meet record holder in the Mile Walk and the 3km Walk. After suffering from a coma in 2005 and enduring 7 years of therapy to recover, including 5 years homelessness as a result, I managed to leave Big Pharma behind by using a return to athletics as my path. With diet, exercise and meditation I lost the 75 pounds I had gained as a result of side effects from the medication, began to train again, rediscovered my identity and am now once more at the top of my fitness, both mental and physical.
