Steven's Story
Life
I went to Belmont College( now University) in Nashville, TN, graduated with a degree in Chemistry, and married a classmate from the nursing school. I joined the Air Force in 1969 because they have safer foxholes. They sent me to Texas and Washington, D. C. where I worked as a medical lab tech. I never needed that foxhole, but Washington was something of a war zone at that time. I worked at the shipyard in Newport News, VA. nd Mary, the wife and I had a daughter, and I became a deacon in my church. I moved to Fort Wayne, IN where I am now. I have programmed computers since I have been here, but I have worked for a wire manufacturer, an insurance company, a truck manufacturer, and private contracts. I also got into the landlord business, which led to a lot of work in real estate and the construction trades. I got my bachelors and masters in computer science at Purdue University. I have recently branched out into music and farming.
