Steven's Story
After graduating from dear old Humble High, I attended Texas Tech University. I graduated with a BBA in Management in 1982 and started working for Amoco Production Company in Andrews, Tx (deep West Texas). I met some wonderful people there and after a major auto accident with involved an 18 wheeler, I committed my life to Jesus Christ. After 6 years of living and working in Midland/Odessa area, I wanted to return to Houston. I quit my job and moved in with my parents. ingles ministry. At the end of 1991, I accepted a position back in the oil and gas industry with Anadarko Petroleum in Midland, Texas. Again, the folks in west Texas were wonderful. In February 1996, I was transfered to Houston to work in Anadarko's international department. In March 1998, I was asked to join the team to build Anadarko's headquarters in The Woodlands. We completed the job in March 2002. It is the 30 story building near the The Woodlands Mall. In June 2002, Susan Davis Banks and I got married and went to Hawaii for our honeymoon. We are still blissfully, happily married. We have 3 kids, Bethany, Kevin, and Kelsi.
