Steven's Story
Hey one and all,
I retired from the US Army on 30 June 2004 and have not looked back since. I'm married to the most beautiful woman in the world and I could not be any happier than I am now. I live a pretty simple and unexceptional life, but that's the way I want and like it. Since high school I have seen a lot of things, been a lot of places, met some great people all over the world, and most importantly, I have grown into the man I know my parents are proud of and my wife adores. d. I like to view it from the pespective that I am truly blessed to be here and the blessings keep rolling in. Eventually I will write an in-depth memoir of my life and everything that has influenced and guided me to this particular juncture of it. It migh even be somewhat interesting.
One day a couple of friends and I walked up to the mesa not far from the Sunspot Observatory. I couldn't believe the beauty of the panoramic view fromwhere we were. I could all the north past Tularosa, and as far south as El Paso. The White Sands National Monument never looked as beautiful to me as it did that particular day.
