Steven's Story
I worked for a few months after graduating from FAHS. My father then got transfered to Ft Riley, KS. Since it was close, that is how I wound up attending Kansas State University. In the end I lived in KS for 15 years (until then I hadn't stayed in one place longer that 3 years). I worked for several years as a Police Officer after getting my BS. the University of Missouri Veterinary Teaching Hospital for a year before deciding to join the Air Force. I went back to moving around frequently. I am on my 8th assignment so far. It has been interesting. A lot of different and exciting experiences. I am kind of like a kid that never could figure out what he wanted to do when he grew up. But it has been good. As I look back the biggest thing I miss is not staying in touch with close friends from school.
