I moved to Florida in 1979, I interpreted the blizzard of 78’ as Mother Nature shouting, “it’s time to leave.” If it’s outdoors I’m in, there has been so much to see and do here. I worked for Disney for short time, it’s an amazing place a tsunami of positive energy! Then moved to Daytona Beach, over 30 miles of beach you can drive on…wahooo. In the late 70’s and 80’s going dancing at night and dining out were 2 of my 3 favorite things to do with the beach being my favorite. Daytona had a club Fanny Farkles that stayed open until 4:00am. Imagine being able to dance literally all night long. Then off to breakfast, Skeeters was a hot spot, known for their “big biscuits”! Imagine a heavy southern drawl of, “Skeeters, home of the big biscuit!” Terrific breakfasts and yup, biscuits!
