Steven's Story
Life
What can I say except I have had an exciting life, been married 3 times, worked as a waiter, bouncer, Bartender, Discjockey, stripper, MC for female mudd wrestling and boxing. I have been to Japan and ran a mudd wrestling tour for a month.
I played hard, which has now caught up me, so I fill most of my time enjoying blues festivals, going to clubs to listen to the blues, some bands I see are friends that I have met along the way.
I have two adorable grandsons ages 1 1/2 yr old and a two month old names are Jacob James and Joseph Jesse, respectively. My son on the other hand just has no clue ( Maybe its the name, Jesse James ) he is throwing his life away, he is a talented young man, can rap with the best, but is really stubborn at times!
I have no regrets for the things I have done in my life. I'm not rich, but money isn't everything. If you have good friends, a connection with old school friends and a great family and you're health, you just may be rich after all! So I have done a lot but there is still more to come and I'll update this when needed!

ith a little philosophy thrown in! Sorry Couldn't resist the temptation!
Workplace
From 1972 to 1984 did every type of job ( gas station attendant, carpet layer, carpet salesman, handyman, layed oil pipelines in Texas, bartender, bouncer, waiter, dancer discjockey etc....) there is considering my education or lack of, passed up a Radio Discjockey gig in 1984 because I got the letter from the USPS and I struggled with the decision, but the fact that I had a 3 month old son and 3 step-daughters, I felt that the benefits for the family far outweighed my life long dream. Who knew that only after 2 years at the job my marriage would end, I surely didn't.
I have spent most of my career at the USPS as a letter carrier and a union rep and love both of my roles in the PO, I have great customers and provide them with great service. My job as a steward is rewarding most of the times and frustrating other times.
I retired in March of 2005 and after a year off, I work part-time for my union, the National Association of Letter Carriers. Man, working 4 hours per day is tough!
