Who in the heck would want to hear a story about me? Anyway, after graduation, I got a job with the Missouri Audit Bureau located in the Pierce building downtown. The Pierce building is now the Adams Mark hotel. I was there for 3 years and met my wife there and Dave Mc Cubbins wife also worked there. I remember her being pregnant and was getting really close to her due date, and thinking she was going to drop in the desk drawer. In 1971, I received my draft notice and enlisted in the Missouri Air National Guard (draft dodger you might say). After my 6 years were up, I reenlisted and ended up retiring in 1995 after 23 years, 7 months and 18 days. In 1973, I accepted a job with the National Guard, as a civil service technician, and worked as a printing and binding specialist for a department of the Pentagon. I published classified reports of combat readiness for all Air National Guard units. I had a couple of other jobs with the Pentagon and finally accepted another position at McDonnell Douglas Corporation, in September 1978. I started in the Pension Administration office and remained there until 1986 when I went on an active duty tour with the Air Guard.
