Steven's Story
Life
Graduated from Rowan Tech with A.A.S. in Drafting & Design Technology in 1968. Served 4 years in USAF including 1 FULL (14 months)tour in Vietnam but no purple ouchies (Sorry Kerry fans). Returned to Charlotte and the engineering community in 1972. Received B.S. in civil engineering from UNCC in 1986 and my MSCE from UNCC in 1993. 17 years and still love the job. Married Lynda Fowler (Charlotte girl) in 1979. Two children: a son Sam and a daughter Sarah married to Bruce Chaplin. Sam is in Charlotte and works with the Department of Social Services with first time youth offenders. Sarah, Bruce and Alex live in Walden, NY. Two labs - Honey and Clancey and (thanks to Sarah and Bruce) one grandson Alex! Lynda and I are huge Panther fans! Love to hear from anyone!
