Steven's Story
After high school, I worked full-time for a couple of years before deciding to goto school part-time. This helped me in getting my first real job (outside of retail) at Texas Instruments in Lewisville working in the IT department. It has been the longest job I've ever held with one company, 7 1/2 years.
After leaving TI, I became an IT consultant with various companies and spent the next 7 years traveling around the world implementing various software packages. I quit the consulting business in 2000 because of the .com bust...Expand for more
and started working for a company in Plano as one of their Network Administrators.
I married my wife Amanda in 2002 and we currently live in Flower Mound with our two sons ages 3 1/2 and 10 months. Right before my oldest son was born in 2005 I decided that I needed to go back to school, so I enrolled part-time at DeVry University and am expected to graduate in 2010 with a degree in Network and Communication Management.
I am currently working for a subsidary of AT&T implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting networks.
