Steven's Story
I moved from Lakenheath to Colorado Springs in 1983 and finished off my last year of school there at Doherty High school. I went to college for a while until I ran out of money. In 1985 I joined the Air Force. I became an Aircraft Armament Systems Specialist. Basically, I loaded bombs and worked on the equipment that held the bombs and the electrical systems on the acft. er 9 years of marriage we got divorced. I remarried a few months later to my present wife. We have just gone past 9 years now. I retired 1 May 2008 after 23 years in the USAF. I now work as a contractor on an Air Force base. I stay busy working and competing in powerlifting. I like to play with cars, but the powerlifting is my favorite hobby. I filled out a little from my strapping 155 pounds at Lakenheath to my current 220. I miss the days with my friends from school. Hopefully I will be able to contact some of them.
