Steven is from Salinas, California. He is married. His schools include Salinas High School.
TV shows Steven likes include Powerblock TV. For those of you who remember me, Joined the United States Marine Corps by signing in on a four year enlistment in November of 1964. I went active duty in February of 1965 being sent to San Diego, Ca.... for boot camp 13 weeks of life changing attitude adjustment. I was forwarded to Camp Pendelton in Southern California for Infantry Training Regement, a four week training program. From sunny California I was sent to Millington,Tennessee for Aviation Schooling. To make a long story short I spent nearly seven years in the Corps. During my enlistment I spent some time in So.Ea., Asia a.k.a. Vietnam. I landed at DaNang in November of 1966 on a 13 month tour to which I added a 6 month extension. The reward for the extension was a free 30 leave to any where in the free world and the leave did not start until your arrival at the designated location for your leave. Totaling the 13 + 1 + 6 months gave me a 20 month total assignment in the Republic of Vietnam. After returning to California and still in the Corps I recieved orders to Marine Corps Air Station, Kaneohe, Hawaii. The orders were for a 2 year tour but as I had only 4 months remaining after the 2...Expand for more

Short of a year after departing Nestle' I started a 4 year Diesel Mechanic Apprenticeship (on the G.I. Bill) starting 3 September,1973 and finishing in June of 1977. I worked for the company as a journeyman mechanic until September, 1983 when I became Service Manager for Commercial Truck Company an International Harvester sales and service dealership. Looking back I enjoyed those ten years before becoming the dealership service manager. For those who might read this and would like to hear more ............................... please message me and I will gladly continue with my story of life since quitting high school and joining the Military back in 1964. Although I claim to be in the graduating class of 1965 I never graduated as my rebel without a cause attitude led me to join the Marines before graduation. I like to say I since entering Sherwood Elementary School in 1953, I was in the Graduating Class of 1965. All things went well until my 15th/16th years of life when I began....
