Life
Just a quick update for anyone that MIGHT be looking for me... I'm living and working in Omaha, NE (as of Jan. 2006 working for Bank of the West). Got divorced last year after a 15+ year marriage. No children. I have one cat, (Jasmine). I sing in a local, non-profit, choral group (the Clarion Chamber Chorale) and have been in the choir for about 20 years. I like to read (mostly fiction) and prefer authors like Stephen King, Dean Koontz, and Sue Grafton. I still play a little piano (for my own enjoyment) and make my own, homemade wine on occasion. I try to get to Colorado at least once or twice every summer to hike/c...Expand for more
limb. Nothing technical... LONG day hikes (13-15 hours) reaching peaks at altitudes of 13,000-14,000 feet. I've climbed Longs Peak 4 times, Mt. Elbert once, Elk Tooth Peak once, and Mt. Alice once. Fun stuff! If anyone from Polk County "finds" me on this site, please shoot me an email. It would be fun to reconnect with some folks from high school days! (even some of you nasty Stromsburg Vikings... :-) (I did play football for the Bulldogs and was part of the team that went undefeated (9-0) and went to state as seniors to ultimately get destroyed by Grant in the first round of the playoffs... but at least we got there!)...
