Steven's Story
Life
Man, what a long strange trip it's been!!! I went into the Air Force in April 73 and retired in 93. I saw some of you at the 10 year reunion, but I have been way out of touch. I have been living in Arkansas since 1978. I have travelled extensively throughout Europe, and all over the States. Been to places in Africa and spent a bunch of time in Central America. I have been as far south as Peru. I don't think I will be living in Minnesota ever again. I may end up in Florida, but who knows. I am working a Government job right now, and life is good!!
School

chools in the Air Force. With my travelling it was not easy to attend class, but I was able to do some. I couldn't wait to leave home though. I just needed to go.
Military
Started out as a Weapons Mech 462X0 and did a tour In Bitburg 73-76 and a year at KI Sawyer 76-77. I was able to crosstrain and almost went into the reserves at Minneapolis on C-130A models. Another break came my way and I applied for Loadmaster training. Ended up at Little Rock and flew over 6,000 hours in the mighty Herc!! They places I've been and people I've seen. The absolute best job I had in the Air Force.
