Steven's Story

Life After graduating from Highland, I went to UNM where I got a Bachelors in English/American Literature and a minor in Italian Studies. During my Junior year, I went on an exchange to Florence, Italy and had such a great experience that in 1990, after graduation from UNM, I came back to Italy and have been here ever since. taught English grammar and conversation to Italians for 12 years. In 1998, I got a Masters degree from the Università degli Studi di Firenze in Italian Literature. In October 1999, I got married to Gabriella, who is a surgical nurse, in her hometown on the island of Sardegna and in July of 2000, our son, Giorgio, arrived. Tommaso was born in 2002.
