Stevi Haller:

CLASS OF 1956
El cajon, CA

Stevi's Story

I went to El Cajon High School, in 1956. Before that I attended Grossmont High. In 1955 my family moved to La Cresta. My best friend was Carole Thomas. Carole was the oldest of 5 girls just like I was.Although a year older we hit it off right away. I have been trying to locate her for years. Carole took the train from San Diego to Pomona to attend my wedding and after the birth of my first daughter in 1960, Carole and her husband Ted came to visit. My family moved to Pomona and I graduated from Pomona High. I attended University of Arizona, where I majored in Health Management. In 1959 I married Bob Cameli. We both finished school, and I took a job in hospital management until 1980's. I ...Expand for more
then entered the new world of managed health care where I spent the next 30 years. We lived in Pomona and Upland raising our 4 children. Bob worked at General Dynamics until his death in 1991. We enjoyed travelling and visited London, Ireland, Italy as well as many other states. We loved to camp and spend many summer vacations travelling to different camping spots, our favorite being in Northern California. Children of course are all grown now and we have 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. I currently live in Palm Desert, semi retired, don't know if I could ever completely retire. I have had a wonderful and active life. I would love to connect to old aquaintenaces and friends.
