Stewart's Story

Life Hello classmates. Where have you and the time gone? Married a lovely girl from Windham and we are living in Shokan and have 2 boys. One finishing college and a 15 year old at home going to Coleman Catholic in Kingston. I remember many of you (not all) and have fond memories of happy times. It seems so long ago and at the same time so short a time that I couldn't remember my locker combination and since I shared a locker with some girl, I would wait until it was open and get my books. I still pass that locker and get a chuckle out of that. I finally had to ask the principal for the combo. Now a days you would not be sure which principal to ask. I still like to listen to the music of that era and while I missed all the Woodstock concerts I even like some of that music. My family and I love to travel and have been all over the U.S. Our past trips include San Francisco, Tuscon, Texas, Louisiana. 2002 found us on a 3 week trip to London, Paris and then Rome. The following year I took my mom to Las Vegas and then later to London and up to Scotland to visit my...Expand for more
cousin who owns a small hotel. I work for Rotron in the Saugerties Plant and am supervisor (small "s") of 2 departments. I have been there for 32 years after a stint with the Navy with RVAW 120. I worked as a radar and communications tech, teaching sea bound sailors how to fix the Hawkeyes. Managed a couple of 1 week sea tours but no overseas trips. I still have a great fondness for aircraft and have hundres of pictures taken at air shows and we still get to Norfolk/Va Beach area regularly. While in the Navy, I attended Old Dominion University in Norfok trying to pick up some of the more basic requirements. After discharge, I went to Ulster Community, where I met my future bride, then on to New Paltz College. I took many classes from Business and Accounting to Psychology and Speech classes and Chemistry. Interesting how none of them turned out to be career but all of them are used in my life and my job. I am very thankful that I am not a young high school kid just starting out now in 2005. God bless them one and all. Take care and see you around the planet.
