Jen Strauss:  

Born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and grew up in Margate. My schools include Coconut Creek High School, Margate Middle School, Coconut Creek Elementary and Alphabet Academy. I later attended Broward Community College North Campus (Criminal Justice). What everyone did not know about me is that I have Mosaic Down Syndrome. I am my own self advocate and I inspire and give hope to those parents whose child has down syndrome. During my middle and high school years, I have been bullied emotionally, been taken advantage of and taken for granted.
