Sue's Story
I thought I'd already written my update, but it seems to have disappeared. I went to Marshall University after h.s. graduation, majoring in journalism, but became seduced by psychology and transferred to WV State College to study under the great Herman G. Canady (and my mentor, Leslie Fisher) ad to save my family money. Went to grad school at Un of Florda but left before getting an advanced degree. Married John Shoup, whom I met at WVSC. ob as a stock broker. I was a social worker for Crippled Children's Services for 2-1/2 years, I so I joked we worked both sides of the street. John and I divorced in 1988 and I worked 20 years at the postal processing plant, retiring in 2011. The last 10 years I worked, I took 2 wonderful international trips a year, to Egypt, Israel, Malta, Costa Rica, Peru, Italy, Ireland (horseback riding across the country), Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Turkey, Vietnam. So glad I did that before I retired. I now have a sweet 15 yr old grandddaughter Lucy in Carlisle PA and 5 yr old grandson Aiden here. I don't travel anymore without them!
