Sue's Story

Remembering old classmates and friends from long ago is fun. Seeing the names of people remembered brings back so many memories of places we used to go, like Eastown, The Grande Ball Room, and the free Sunday concerts at Tarter Field near the Wayne State campus. Can't forget the long summers and time spent at Cass Lake. I think some part of every Summer day was spent there, long before there was a cement bridge to the beach. Remember the old wood bridge so crowded with people it was hard to cross? Remember Cass Benton ( aka beer hill ) and The Horseshoe?? OMG what crazy daze!! How we survived it all I'll never know!! GREAT times back then. :o) I stayed in Michigan.....Expand for more
... I've been married to a great guy named Bill, 35 years this Nov. [2011]. We built a house out in Commerce Township in the late 80's, and we're still there. We have one son that we adopted from Korea, he's 28 yrs old [Feb. 2011]. He is married to a great girl, Melissa, she has two daughters. They live about a mile from us. They gave me my first grand child on May 7, 2009. She's adorable, and I love spending time with her. We purchased some riverfront property in northern Michigan a couple of years ago and are now starting to build. If all goes as planned we want to spend the better part of the year there, then travel to warmer climates during the Winter. Sue~
