Sue's Story
I really moved around a lot as a child:
Eudora, Arkansas (until 1957); Greenville,MS (1957-1960);
Memphis, TN (1960-1963 Treadwell HS);
Oxford, MS (1963-1967, Oxford HS,class of '65, Univ of MS 1965-1967).
Married John DuBard in 1967 and we moved to Eglin Air Base, FL. He was in service until 1971 and I commuted daily to Pensacola to Univ of W. FL to finish up BS in Biology in 1969. Taught general science and biology in Ft. Walton Beach and Niceville schools.
Moved to Tallahassee, FL, in 1971 where we are still living.
Two Children: Derik (b. 1972) and Deborah (b. 1975)
Two dogs: dauchunds (Carmen and Figaro -- very musical)
One cat: Jacques - part Manx

irst in Department of Education and later in Economic and Demographic Research, Fl Legislature, working on education issues. Have worked for state for 30 years.
Interests: Travelling, reading, writing, bridge, and fellowship with friends.
In 1982 I joined the Unitarian Universalist Church of Tallahassee and I am still a member there. I am liberal on social justice issues and conservative on fiscal issues.
One of my favorite accomplishments is completing the "pinch hitter" couse for flying small planes. John is a pilot and I wanted to know how to land the darn thing if he became ill when in the air. It was a lot of fun and something I never thought I would do.
I am also active in American Association of University Women and Zonta.
I have had health issues, surving two unrelated cancers, colon and breast.
