Sue's Story
I have a fabulous daughter who is 40, RN, married and lives in San Diego. I am lesbian (are you surprised?) and retired in August 2018 and moved to Ajijic, Mexico with my wife Robin, who is the love of my life. She and I ride our motorcycles all over the country every chance we get (rode to Alaska for our honeymoon) and especially every year in the San Francisco Dykes on Bikes Pride parade. I am a retired board certified Geriatric and Palliative Nurse Practitioner at Kaiser where I created the Home Based Primary Care Program.
No...I did not realize I was gay in high school. I came out in the year 2000...after being married for 26 years to a male. I do wish I was aware of my sexual orientation earlier in life but then again...I would not have had my daughter who is one hell of a woman!
