Life Married in 1977. Had a daughter in 1978. She is now a teacher in Bloomfield Hills School District. Good kid! My pride and joy. Moved to the northlands of Michigan in 1986 to a small community called Newaygo. Talk about culture shock! Deer and wild turkeys in the yard. Occasional black bear along the road. I began driving School bus in '86 shortly after moving here to meet new people. Retired August 2010. In 1998 I bought a canoe rental business and small campground on the Muskegon River. Been running canoes, kayaks, and tubes ever summer since. Have four dogs. Cassie is a 11 year old black labrador. Angel is my sweetie! Angel is a 4 year old golden retriever. Buddy is a year old miniture long hair Doxie. Last but not least is a 12 year old Sheltie/Doxie mix named Molly. I kayak on the river when I can. My other hobby ties into my interest in writing which I had in High School as well as interest in history. I do genealogy. Found out by accident that I am the 23rd great granddaughter of Robert the Bruce the first King of Scotland! I also write a lot of poetry in my spare time. Think I got that talent or learned of it from Ms. Kangas! Have had a few poems published and it is an amazing feeling to look at your words in print. I try to travel as much as possible.
