Sue's Story
I have had a very successful life and achieved many of the goals I set for myself. As you can see from my profile photo, I am an "ambassador" for the Carter Center which means a supporter and promoter of the work done by this great man. Joan and I spent many years in California and we wrote the highest rated episode of the classic TV series GUNSMOKE in the 20-year history of the show. We have numerous non-fiction books to our credit, including:
"Riverboat: The History of a TV Series"
"Fulton's Folly: The History of Steamboats on Western Waters"
"The History of the Hot Air Balloon"
"The History of the Circus"
"Smallpox"
"Cholera"
"Yellow Fever" (in press; 2016)
"Full-Disclosure Cardiac Monitoring" (a medical textbook)

We currently have two fiction trilogies published as e-books:
"The Kansas Pirates"
"The Hellhole Saga"
that I invite you to buy from Amazon and read, and a new mystery series coming out later this summer.
Over the course of our career we have worked for William Shatner, operated cardiac laboratories, owned and published a successful magazine called "The Kepi," which dealt with the Civil War. We have numerous peer-reviewed medical papers to our credit (Cardiology) and for those of you who remember my love of baseball, we moved to STL in 1987 to watch Whitey Herzog, the manager of the STL Cardinals, take the Runnin' Redbirds to the World Series. We stayed, became close friends with the Herzogs and have never looked back.
