Sue's Story
I married in high schoo l to Fred Prather, my first love. After seventeen yrs of marriage, he had his second heart attack and died in Buffalo TX, deer hunting the weekend after Thanksgiving, 1983. During that 17 yrs of marriage, I had our three children, a son, and two daughters. They were beautiful miracles then and NOW. I was a stay at home mom during most of that time. Coached softball, soccor mom, swim team mom. Busy wonderful life. I was a commumity volunteer.
After Fred's death, I turned to drinking and that got the best of me after 6 short yrs. I have been sober for 27 yrs now but I am still active in AA, helping other women achieive sobriety as well...Expand for more

I remarried for 15 yrs and that marriage ended in divorce. The best part of that relationship was the one that developed with my step-daughter. She has added three grandchildren to my list. My son had no children. My middle daughter gave me two grandsons graduating highschool and sophomore age now. Youngest gave me three grandsons. Now they are 27, 25 and 21. My store bought daughters kids are 7 and 5 the 2 yr old is a girl.
I went to massage therapy school after I married the second time and owned a business in Lake Jackson for 19 years. I am now a widow living in Lake Jackson. My parents died 2015.
I will be a great grandmother this summer! Call me GG!
