Sue's Story
Have two beautiful grandsons, Kai 7 and Matthew almost 2. I have to claim them since they look just like their mother. Who is my only child.
Ed Williams is the love of my life. Met him at Publix #321 where we both worked. They closed my beloved Avon Park (was there 17 years), transferred me to Lake Wales and Ed decided to retire from the grocery business.
Moved to Florida in 1987 to be near my dad and ailing mom--type of alzhiemer's. She is still hanging in there.
My ex-husband Dan Hoeksema, great dad and decent person, still had some wild oats in him so we became ex's in '91.
Have lived in Frostproof, FL since my divorce. Reminds me of Michigan, bigger than Fult...Expand for more
on and smaller than Vicksburg.
Raised my daughter, Terren, here.
Am a homebody except for vacations, been to all 50 states, Europe, Canada and Mexico. Want to visit relatives in Australia.
Life is good even with its ups and downs.
I was in and out of hospitals between Aug and Dec of '09 and have decided to have brain surgery to see if my epileptic seizures can be controlled since my medication is not working like it used to. (Yes, they found a brain in there!)
Currently I am still working for Publix, taking care of mom, helping dad grow his tomato plants and feed his cows Sickly and Puny(they're not, the names just stuck)and driving Ed crazy on regular basis.
