Sue's Story
After BPHS I went to CSUF. I started working at the company I retired from while still in high school. They helped put me through college and provided a pretty good career. In 1993 the company made me a great offer to come up to their headquarters in the SF Bay Area. We took it and moved. It turned out to be a great move. Because I had started so young I had the years in to retire before 48, and got a golden parachute to boot. I would love to say all of this was...Expand for more
good “planning and organization” but it was also a lot of luck of being right time, right place, and taking a few chances. I met my spouse in 1986 and we have been together since. We don’t know why or how we did it, and have no words of wisdom for anyone else. I now just do what I want to do and when I want to do it. It’s a big freedom. Music tastes are mostly all kinds of Blues music. Turned into a tea snob, but isn’t that all relative to each person’s tastes?
