Sue's Story
What can I say about my life? Only that it's going by way too fast. Remember the milestones? First day at school - Getting your driver's license - turning 18 then 21 - blah blah blah. At the time it seemed like time stood still. Not now. How did I get to be middle age?
But wait! I've got 3 lovely girls, all grown up. Eight wonderful (and lively) grandchildren. Divorced. Dad passed away in 2009, mom in 2000. Lived in Florida for 4 years in the mid 80's but came back to Michigan - missed the snow (yeah right). Live in Bay City, work in Saginaw. Hardly ever pass through Bridgeport. It's changed so much since the 60's and 70's.
Took up my dad's favorite pass time a few years ago - shuffleboard. I'm on 2 leagues in Bay City. Turns out I have a knack for it - just like...Expand for more
dad. The ladies team I'm one won first place this year.
Ok below is the story wizard. The story wizard tells the story with the info you put in.....
I always wanted to be a nun when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a really weird idea. As it turns out, they were right. I liked boys too much.. :)
That said, my hero has been for a long long time, Sister Mother Teresa. She took care of the throw away people, the ones no one else wanted to take care of. Such devotion and self-lessness from one tiny llittle woman.
My friends would tell you I'm a caring and faithful person, with a slight temper, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as slightly stand-offish.
As you can tell from my story, I should have been a social worker. Ah well....
