Sue's Story
Jim & I have been married almost 41 years!! My how the time has flown by.
We have 2 kids- Jenefer is 40 & Damian is 35.
Jen has 2 boys- Andrew & Preston and Damian will be a new father in Dec- his first.
I just celebrated my 10 year anniversary as a Colon Cancer kick butt overcomer. It was a good learning time for me, but I haven't looked back & just keep going forward.
I've worked different jobs over that last several yrs- Nordstrom-s at Vancouver Mall, State Farm Insurance, massage clinic, alternative health care clinic and now I work at Boyce Financial Group. I've been there almost 4 years as the front office do everything that's needed assistant. My hope was to retire in a...Expand for more
couple of years, but I'll probably be one of the gray hair ladies using a cane to get around with the way the economy is heading.
Jim has worked for Anderson Glass for over 30 years, but due to several medical problems, he's applied for SSI so will not be finishing his career at AG.
We haven't done too much traveling, just staying close to home going to our grandsons activities. We've lived in the same house in Vancouver for 30+yrs, but hope to be able to sell in the next year or two & downsize.
My question of life is this......How the heck can I still feel like I must be in my 30's, but the ol' body is telling me otherwise? Hmmmm......???
