Still married to the same wonderful man for 30 and a half years. We celebrated with an Alaskan cruise out of San Fran given to us by our children. It was wonderful. I'm finally retiring at the end of this school year. 25 years and I think it's time to leave school. The 8th graders are starting to wear me down. My daugher was married in June of '04. She lives in Charlotte, and was just promoted to Vice President in her group at Bank of America. We are so proud of her!! No grandchildren yet-just an adorable granddog. My son is working for UPS in central Jersey and enjoying it. Still single, but with a steady girl. That's all the news here in the North-hope to hear from you soon!*****2010-March-Just finished watching March Madness games-No interest this year-my Tarheels stunk-My daughter and son-in-law are alums, and so will their children some day. ept 2nd, '10. We are especially excited since they live in NJ and are only one hour and fifteen mins. away. Much closer then the 10 hour drive or the supposedly 1hr. and 10 min flight from Philly to Charlotte. Anyway, I have been retired for four years this June. I haven't missed teaching for a minute-just the people that I worked with. But, we see each other a lot-dinners during the school year and lunches in the summer. 2 of my colleagues have since retired so I have 2 people to do retired girl stuff with and we do do some stuff. Bob and I took a marvelous 14 day cruise starting in Stockholm and ending in Copenhagen last summer. We visited Helsinki, Berlin, Gadansk, St. Petersburg (what a beautiful city with such amazing history) We're just sorry we didn't take the opportunity to visit Moscow. Those who did on our cruise said it was very interesting. Another exciting trip was our weekend in Paris over the 4th of July weekend, last summer also. We celebrated 34 years of marriage. Hard to believe so many years have passed. That's pretty much the update. If you're ever stuck or traveling through Philly, give us a call. We're about 30 mins. from the airport and love to show off the city-South Jersey isn't half bad either. Hope all is well with everyone from the Class of '66-I'm still for a ?? year reunion, just a casual get together would be great-Mary Sue (Covell)Day
